Reuse saved answers across website forms with FillApp snippets

Repeating the same website checklist should not mean retyping the same answers. FillApp snippets let you save a set of answers, bring it into a new form, and change only the details that differ.
Here is a simple workflow for a recurring operations checklist.
1. Save your common answers as a snippet
Open Snippets in your FillApp dashboard, choose Add Snippet, and give it a name such as weeklyChecklist.
In Content, pair each form label with its usual answer:
Checklist name: Weekly equipment check
Equipment ready: Yes
Supplies checked: Yes
Comment: Spare supplies need restocking.
Choose Create. You now have one reusable set of answers instead of several pieces of text to copy each time. You can edit the snippet when your usual answers change.
2. Bring the snippet into your website form
Open the form in Chrome, then open FillApp from the toolbar and sign in. Select Fill for the form on your current tab.
In the message box, type @weeklyChecklist and select your saved snippet from Snippets. Add a short instruction:
Fill this draft using @weeklyChecklist.
For this entry, set Review period to Week 2 and Comment to
“All supplies restocked.” Use only the supplied answers,
leave missing answers blank, and leave the draft for my review.
Do not submit it.
Choose the snippet from the menu so it is attached to the message, rather than leaving its name as plain text.
3. Change only what is different next time
For the next checklist, reuse the same snippet and describe the exceptions. Your common answers stay together, while the current period, status or comment can change in the message.
You can also keep separate snippets for different patterns, such as weeklyChecklist and monthlyChecklist, and choose the one you need. Use the form's actual labels so the answers are easy to match.
4. Review and submit
Check the filled fields against your intended answers, then submit the form yourself. If a field needs changing, tell FillApp its label and the replacement value.
Start with one form you already repeat. Once your common answers are saved, the next task is choosing the right snippet and updating the differences.
