Create optimized eBay listings with competitive pricing based on market research from similar active listings
The Prompt
Open Google Sheet with product information at: {{PRODUCT_SPREADSHEET_URL}}
The spreadsheet should contain:
- Product Name
- Product Category
- Condition (New/Used/Refurbished)
- Product Details/Specifications
- Starting Price or Buy It Now preference
- Shipping details
For each product (up to {{PRODUCT_COUNT}} products):
- Navigate to eBay and search for similar items:
* Use product name and key specifications
* Filter by condition (New, Used, etc.)
* Filter by Sold listings to see actual sale prices
- Research competitive pricing:
* Note prices of top 5-10 similar active listings
* Check completed/sold listings for actual selling prices
* Identify price range (lowest, average, highest)
* Note which listings have more watchers/bids
- Analyze top-performing listings:
* What titles get the most views?
* What keywords are they using?
* How detailed are their descriptions?
* What photos seem most effective?
* Shipping costs and delivery times
- Navigate to "Sell" on eBay
- Create new listing:
* **Title:** Write SEO-optimized title using:
- Product name and model
- Key features from {{PRODUCT_FEATURES}}
- Condition
- High-value keywords from research
- Use all 80 characters when possible
* **Category:** Select most specific category
* **Condition:** Select from spreadsheet
* **Description:** Write detailed HTML description:
- Product overview and benefits
- Complete specifications from spreadsheet
- Condition details and any flaws (if used)
- What's included in the package
- Shipping and return policy
- Payment terms
- Use bullet points for readability
* **Price:** Set based on {{PRICING_STRATEGY}}:
- Consider research findings
- Position competitively
- Add Best Offer option if appropriate
* **Shipping:** Configure based on spreadsheet:
- Shipping service and cost
- Handling time
- Domestic and international options
* **Return policy:** Set according to {{RETURN_POLICY}}
* **Payment methods:** Select accepted methods
- Review listing preview
- Publish listing
